There will be some exciting and interesting information shared at the Wednesday, April 20th School Board meeting!
The board subcommittee on Promoting Healthy and Resilient Students, made up of students, parents, teachers, counselors and administrators will be presenting information on the work that has been done so far and what is planned for the future. This committee was formed in response to the board workshop that examined the social and emotional health of our students. The main goal is to examine the root causes of this unhealthy stress and address both the cultural and functional areas where we can improve the overall Mira Costa community. Come hear what the committee has been working on, see where you can get involved and learn about our partnership with Challenge Success, a Stanford based non-profit that helps schools with strategies for stronger schools and healthy, successful students.
