Local Prevention Programs and Initiatives
The Thelma McMillen Center at Torrance Memorial Medical Center is pleased to offer a four-week program for teens and their parents, providing information and skills for identifying, preventing, and intervening in problems related to drug and alcohol use. The program is provided as a free community service and meets once a week for four weeks on Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30pm.
Encourage your teen to share what inspires her/him to try to pass on drugs and alcohol. The MCHS student/alumni winner will receive a $100 gift card to Pages book store.
